Korça Municipality currently conducts its activity in a building of the `30s, with the author ing.ark. Qemal Butka, whose initial destination was prefecture. By size it is the largest work ever built in Korça. There is a horizontal stretch, developed during the two cross-roads. At the end of the two arms, the entrance part rises, creating a vertical volume that tends to break the marked horizontal extension. From the entrance hall, the office corps is opened on both sides, solved in unilateral and well-lit corridors. Offices are oriented to the most favorable side of the horizon: south and west. Planimetry solution is clear, clean and functional. Façade handling is simple and in accordance with the function. The uninterrupted rhythm of the windows and the pure facade treatment prevail, leaving the architectural emphasis on the central volume, treated with a fuller decorative load.
